okay so i said i'll blog about the boy's birthday party but i haven't gotten pics from Janine yet! (who very very very kindly volunteered to help be be photographer for the party) so continue waiting for it! soon, i promise! HAHA

this was the day when i dragged ros out to starbucks to do work. she had an essay to work on and i had all my week 6 deadline projects to rush. i love ros :) from the photos you also see why i DONT take photos facing front. CHECK OUT MY FAT FACE. it is literally round?!

this is the day where the two of us planned to meet in school to attempt to do work even though we didn't have school. bukit timah suay-suay happened to flood on that day so we were stuck in a major jam. meaning we took about 2 hours to travel from Serene Centre to Coronation Plaza (which is fyi, about 5 buildings apart). we bumped into a lost rich foreigner who was trying to find his house at coronation drive, ms sonia and a bunch of annoying year 1s.



errrrrrrrr, all this while you see me i have makeup on?! I haven't really left the house without eyeliner at least for quite a while now... but thats basically almost all i put on. i think the black on my eyes have just became thicker though, maybe thats why..

this was taken today! the boy got soooo excited seeing that the Studio headphones by Beats by Dr Dre were out for people to try on! These are like $700 bucks, man.

we also checked out the new mall 313@Somerset and i lovelovelove it already! Epiccentre, Zara, Forever21, Mango, Marvelous Cream, Cotton On, etc. woahhhh, wern also added 2 new jackets to his collection.

omg love these babies, i actually wore them to school on Tuesday! Should really have taken photos eh! I was taller than alot of people i usually hang out with and that's pretty awesome HAHAHA. woooooots, i really need to find chances to wear them out more often though. Thanks bb! :D:D

am at Loft now, blogging although i really ought to be rushing my assignments instead. School has been a mad rush since Week 4, ask any MCM-er and they'll tell you that. However, stuff have STILL been happening and all that so here's it!


For those who are wondering, it's an app which not only tells you the winning numbers but also to TALLY them so you don't have to manually do it one-by-one!!! Awesome app, if you ask me. Why is there no 4D equivalent? because the case with TOTO is that you usually don't just buy one set of 7 numbers. Tallying can get abit tedious so this app will help you lots. 4D on the other hand only consist 4 numbers! Don't be lazy, nowwwww.

it's kinda insane it's free cause i know how much work he has put into this app. For those who are thinking that you don't need it/ don't buy Toto. about 2 weeks ago, Angie celebrated her 21st birthday and Shuting, Sophia and I went down after work! :D







Dunno if you guys can tell, but i love how the photos look! I'm using the Canon 50D now instead of 450D and i loveee how the quality of the photos are so much better. I'll also update about wern's surprise birthday party next week cause I haven't gotten the high res photos yet. WAIT FOR IT!

am beginning to love Thursdays more and more! I happened to be one of the luckier ones in my cohort to have a free day each week and mine happens to fall on a Thursday. I'll only be happy alternate Thursdays though cause I'm working on the odd weeks.

But today I had the day off and wern took the day off too so we spent a day together!

the day started out with eating, and eating and ended off with eating... D:

but in between all that food we walked from shop to shop, from Pull and Bear to Bershka, River Island and Zara. And of course, the must-visit stops, Topshop and Aldo. That's when i saw those babies.

if you know me you'll know that i have been wanting to get plain black pumps for the longest time now and I still haven't got to doing that/finding the perfect pair. This isn't what i'm looking for cause they are wedges, but i just love how it looks from the front! The photo really doesn't do the pair justice, though i don't really fancy the slant in heel :/

then we walked into Topshop and I was checking out the shoe rack when wern pointed out a pair of shoes that he mentioned "he would like if there was a male version cause he'll use that as combat boots". They aren't what i usually would go for but i reached out for it anyway and decided to try them on.

k so people have been complaining that i haven't been updating (haha i make myself sound popular, don't i?) and so i shall! I had drawn up an entire list of things to do during my 1.5 month break but...

k anyway the highlight of my holidays.

no idea if you're able to tell from the pictures but I'm really really happy to be returning to my room everyday now just to slide my big big wardrobe (hehehe) It's the length of my room (3 metres?) and i even wanted to buy 120 pretty hangers from ikea to hang my clothes but everyone said i was crazy :/

Tons of other stuff happened during the holidays but they're all kinda in bits and pieces so I'm just gonna throw in photos randomly, hehehe.

k i know i haven't blogged in too long and its really taking me ages to get this post started. I am a true blue procrastinator. I really really want to remember my 18th birthday though, considering how everything was awesome - the countdown the girls did, the dinners and lunches i had. after angie arrived we cabbed to dinner destination, Oomphatico's! Loved the ambience, and despite having a bad impression of fusion food because of my previous experience at Wild Rocket, i really loved the food this time!

for starters we had Pan Fried Chilli Garlic Calamari & Classic Caesar Salad. We more or less expected the usual round fried calamari rings to dip in mayo but what we were served was fantassssticcccc! (omg want to eat some nownow)

The other foods show Chermoula Crusted Seabass, "Livornese" - Seafood Stew, Grilled Crisp Skin Red Snapper, Seared Duck Breast with Duck Leg Confit Hash Cake. And for dessert the girls ordered That Expensive Chocolate Dessert and four really pretty cupcakes.



on the way to the room we also requested for ice cubes. specifically "more ice cubes" and this is what we got.

Oh yes so the girls were dropping me random numbers throughout the day and after we camwhored with the ice bucket (HA HA HA) they gave me my last number. They were apparently jumbled up and i had to slowly guess the combination.


i love the present girls! love you guys so much more! I'm really so glad to have met you guys this year and for me to have known Shuting so much better. The opening of Public has brought about pros and cons and one big Pro would definitely be working with you!

Did so many girl-sleepoever things before we finally went to bed at 5am? It was damn surprising we all managed to wake up to buy breakfast from macdonalds before checking out. I then accompanied Sophia and Shuting to Haji to work (THESE GIRLS ARE INSANE) i was so tired i got my mom to drive me home from there and they worked till 9pm?! Love them!

Oh and before i headed out for dinner, Cary and Jon managed to make their way here from Clementi in 9mins just to pass me my present! Cannot thank them enough!!!


headed to Jumbo @ East Coast later that night for a family birthday dinner. Yum yum yum to all the crabs and seafood we ate. I have no idea what to type regarding these two photos though. Oh! It was then that wern handed me a present from his mom and i felt really fuzzy wuzzy all over :)

Doorbell rang and my mom came running into my room at 11am. "Wern is here! Wern is here!". Hilarious way to wake, but i'm not complaining. Ate the breakfast he bought then we headed out to catch a movie. We then had this fabbbb udon from some jap fair in isetan and it was soooo good.


they were super generous with the wakame and it was hand made udon. We only spotted it because we just ate pepper lunch (around the corner) but it looked sooo good i couldn't resist!

I can't rmb what we did after, prolly walk around a lil before we ended up at Din Tai Fung.

Damn abrupt way to end the day but I have no more photos! This entry is flooded with photos as it is!

Today finally saw the end of the non-stop celebration of my birthday (not that i was complaining) and I met the crew of Beat 3 in the morning for filming. My scene for that day was to be shot at Henderson Wave.


The shooting went pretty well, but it was only after that day that i mingled with the crew/cast more and got to know them better. Serene was always present every other day other than the henderson wave scene so i felt alot more at ease. Been quite an experience though, i must say.

took a long bus ride down to town to meet Rach and Yijie for sushi after! So much for the end of the non-stop celebrations!


Based on the recollection of the celebrations i have, I think i have the right to rant about my weight, yes? I am currently at the highest weight checkpoint of my life and i feel like crappppp. It's gross how i still eat so much since my birthday?

Oh, and i had wanted to blog about this. Remember how i mentioned my dad bought a Canon 50D? Apparently that's mine now. He also got me the Speedlight 580EX-II which i brought to work to test out quite some time ago. Pardon the lighting, it is a test afterall. Lighting for photog is so damn hard!!! I'm still trying to work on it now ):

Hype. One of the places where they distribute this publication is at my store and i could hardly recognise it when they were placed at the common area of the store when i was working that day. I suspected it when i picked up the double cover issue and when i flipped through, boy was i impressed.

Hype used to be a super amateurish looking school publication? I still remember the previous issue being a far jump from this! I had a friend who picked up the last issue and went errr, omg? but this is awesome. I never did think i'll think this way, but if hype is gna be looking like that, i wouldn't mind joining the team in Year 3. HAHAHHAA
